Delicious breakfasts
feature home-made preserves and eggs laid by garden chickens who are
only too happy to be fed scraps of bread by visiting children. Chipley
Farmhouse suppers are a treat not to be missed but do remember to book
in advance because these are cooked especially for you. All our food
is freshly prepared and cooked healthily for you on a traditional green
AGA.
Many
of the fruit and vegetables are grown in our own gardens and much of
the meat is home reared. At
Chipley Farm guests are invited to gather around the kitchen table and
share a meal with Fred and Louisa, or if they prefer, enjoy the tranquillity
of the dining area or eat in the garden alfresco on a summer's evening.

Cattle
graze peacefully in the water- meadow in front of our home at
Chipley Farm. These cows produce the rich, wonderful milk needed
for Devon butter, cheese, and cream. Stay on a Devon farm.
Badger
loves to show visitors his stream at the bottom of this field
and a gate in my garden fence makes for easy access.What better
way to stretch those legs after a long journey or satisfying farmhouse
breakfast? (Regretfully we are unable to accommodate visiting
dogs.)

As you enjoy your farmhouse breakfast in our sunny
dining room you will be entertained by the antics of our feathered
friends as they gather around the bird table outside the window.
To help identify unfamiliar types there is a book on garden
birds nearby. |
