EXPLORE OUR GARDENS
Although Spring, our beautiful Golden Retriever,
is no longer with us, Badger will gladly show you all the sunny
corners in our gardens here at our South Devon B&B.
Badger loves children and children love him.
He is always happy when allowed to show visitors the way to the
stream at the bottom of his field and likes nothing better than
a game of ball. His favourite party trick is to show
our guests to their bedrooms, much to the delight of young and
old alike. Stay on a Devon farm and help to feed a baby calf or
maybe watch the cows being milked.

As
I've worked in my gardens over the years I've tried to create
an adventure both for children (with lots of places for hide and
seek) and for artists (with interesting vistas with wonderful
shadows). You will find plenty of comfortable seating in sunny
spots where you can relax with friends and enjoy the lovely views
before taking a walk in Dartmoor National Park, going fishing,
shopping, or just taking a drive in our lovely South Devon countryside.

With such
a large garden, incorporating lawns, flower beds, shrubs, rockeries,
vegetables, small fruit orchard, and a corner for a few pet chickens,
it is not surprising that there is always something to be done. Luckily,
some of my visitors are happy to grab a fork and give the occasional
helping hand. Although we never mind if they prefer to stretch out on
a lounger with a good book and just relax and unwind on a Devon farm.

To stay at Chipley Farm, Devon, is an unique experience and
we invite you to share our special place in this lovely part of the
West Country. We are very close to both Dartmoor National Park and the
beautiful beaches of the South Coast of England. Here you can benefit
from the peace and quiet of the English countryside and, at the same
time, be within easy reach of many tourist attractions, shopping, walking,
exploring, fishing, golf - to mention just a few.
For
the comfort of our other guests, we would respectfully ask you not
to smoke in our home
